Does the M70 Classic in 300 wby have the traditional wby feebore? My guess is that it would for liability purposes, but just want verification. Thanks, Lou

Very unlikely. I know for sure the Remingtons did not and they never stated you could not shoot factory Weatherby ammo in them.

Wow interesting issues there! We need some guys with 300 Weatherbys to get some chamber casts. I always assumed 300 Weatherby reamers would have the Weatherby freebore. Well there we go again assuming; bites us in the butt everytime doesn't it?

Dr. Lou,

The M70 Classic in 300 Weatherby has a chamber to the SAAMI specification. I do beleive that it is the same as those used in Weatherby rifles because Weatherby submitted this information to SAAMI. I would be very surprised if Remington did not manufacture to the SAAMI specification.
