Anybody know of source for sockethead action screws for the Mark V . I'll try and contact Weatherby they arent open yet and thought someone may know an after market source, I beleive them to be 1/4" 28 like Remingtons, but that front screw is short and allmost all thread. Many Thanks HBH | ||

If they are 1/4 X 28, it would be easy to take a die and thread the Remington screws up to the head, if the rear screw is long enough. Brownells does sell 1/4" socket head screw blanks that can be threaded with a die to the lengths needed. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? It is the whole people. I you have time (cheap) get some socket head cap screws in 1/4 x 28 that are plenty long, then do some creative contouring with a drill motor and file. cold blue will finish it off | |||
