Not sure about the pre-64-post details but M70 push feed actions can use stocks inletted for CRF actions with the plastic spacer CDNN Inverstments sells.

I'm looking at a set for slae on anothr forum. It looks identical to a pre-64 set, but I don't know about the fit to the receiver

There is about 1/8" difference between the two. I can't remember which is longer but went thru this with the old Dakota rail style trigger guards that Brownells sold about 15yrs ago.

The hole spacing btwn front and rear guard screw is longer on the post..footprint is different...just ain't the same!
