I have a question that maybe someone out there can answer. I bought a CZ550 in .416 Rigby after reading all the posts and you were all right...it is a great buy. I am very, very impressed..except the stock, which shall be remedied this spring. But back to my question...I have a chance to buy a new "take off" barrel from a Ruger m-77 in .416 Rigby. Now I really like the CZ action, and the Ruger barrel has that great integral quarter rib and barrel band swivel...so my question is, is it feasible, (thread pitch and size) to have the Ruger barrel installed on my CZ? And if so, could you recommend someone who might want to try it. thanks in advance...

i'll defer this is a better smith, but I'll give you $50 for the cz barrel and sights, to help offset the cost. It Could be a setback and chamber, but I dont have the specs for the ruger threads.
