My 404J made by Charles Osbourne (in excellent condition) deserves a fine piece of wood. Note the original stock was damaged and I had to put a laminated stock on her. I require something that will suit a PH's pocket.

I am not too bothered if someone could find me a walnut blank with let us say a grain defect but otherwise strong and solid.

As I cannot export the rifle I presume the stock will have to be duplicated? Note I have finished and bedded stocks before so in theory could do the final works. Note I do not require checkering.

If any out there could help me and the old girl out I would be very grateful. But note price will be the limiting factor.

I will be in and out of the bush and will respond to all on my return.

What action is it built on? Good hunting out there in the field, and watch out for mambas.

I have a couple of English and black in the shop. $100.00 + ship if interested. Can send pics once wife returns home in a few.

Check with "christrees" on this site. He has to many patterns to count and every grade of wood.
Get it made up and have him send it to a client that is coming over; to save the postage and to make sure you get it.
