Marc_Stokeldalmost anything can be made to fit almost anything else, so yes it is possible. All it takes is time and money.
One time I compared the Blackburn Magnum Mauser bottom metal for the .505 Gibbs with the Olympic Arms BBK-02 (same action as the CZ 550 Magnum you mention). It will require a lot of cutting and welding and would cost a lot if you are not doing it yourself. As for what it takes, it requires, cutting, TIGing, milling, filing, and adding metal.
Is it worth it? Depends on how badly you want it and what quality level you demand. If paying some one else to do it, you would need to want it very badly.
The whole "quality level" thing really comes into play with almost any gun work. As soon as some one here posts, "I paid $X for the work shown here," then someone else will post, "you got screwed, I only paid 10% of X and have the same thing!" They will post pics and it is quickly evident that it is an apples to oranges comparison. This does not mean that one way is correct and the other is wrong, only that different people demand differeing levels of quality.
