I installed a complete accelerated firing pin assembly into a remington 700 the other night. This was supposed to be a drop in fit, no gunsmithing required. The spring seems to be dragging on the inside of the bolt body much more than the stock spring. I took the gun out today and noticed on a couple shots there was a slight delay in the total lock time. Is there something I can buy that will polish or open up the bolt body to accomadate the stronger firing pin spring?
