I have a question about the Husky 1640 action; what kind of threads does it have on the barrel shank? My niece wants me to put one together for her. She has her eye on a 1640 in a local pawnshop and thought it was a pretty trim package. I have a new long chambered 7x57 barrel laying around that was threaded for a small ring 98. Are the 1640 threads the same as the SR Mauser?
