Hi Everyone. I was looking at 7600 that was a limited run in a carbine and 35 Remington chambering. It is a slick little carbine. I was just wondering if anyone still does trigger jobs on these guns and how they turn out? I remember in the past there was a company that offered this service, I just can't remember who it was.
Wiktor - You can reduce the trigger pull by about a pound by cutting one (1) coil off the end of the trigger spring. You can't do much about the amount of "creep". Be sure and have a spare spring on hand in case you make a mistake or the pull ends up being too "light"! This procedure is outlined in "Big Bore Rifles and Cartridges" book by Wolfe Publishing in the 338/06 conversion chapter. My trigger pull was reduced a pound using this method. Timney used to make a trigger for the 760/7600, but I haven't seen any info on one in years. Best of luck - Mags
