Brno ZG 47/ Mauser 98 magazine follower rattels

I have a question about my Brno ZG 47:

The follower rattels against the magazine when changing the rifle from a vertical position to a horizontal one. This problem only occures when there are three or more rounds down in the magazine. When there are only two down then there is no noise.

Would a stronger magazine spring solve the problem or do you have other ideas how to fix this problem?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

Philipp

Welcome to AR cpjk.

What caliber is your ZG/47? That rattle might be that with more than two rounds in the magazine they are not stacking properly & causing the rattle.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

It's a 7x64.

If I put three rounds in the magazine and push them slightly down, then the second round can moove back and forth.

Does anybody know how to change it?

Did anybody have the same or similar problem before?

Could I fix it by changing the spring or the follower?
