A few months ago I got a blank here but when the duplicator started shaping it it had a bullet exactly where the bolt handle will go. It was deep in the wood and do sign from the outside it was there. So I need another one it was a straight grain walnut.
If anyone has one I would be interested as the project is now on hold.

Never rode a bull, but have shot some.

I would leave the bullet in it and finish over it. Sounds like a unique stock to me.

I'd love to see pics, that would certainly make for an interesting stock.

Use it!

Many years ago a cabinet-maker friend gave me a piece of maple with some shotgun pellets in it.

At the time I had a restored '64 Ranchero and I made a coffee holder for it out of the maple. My girlfriend thought it was tacky, but I thought it was pretty neat. The girlfriend is long gone, but not the shot-up maple!

Roland- I might be interested in a trade. What action is it roughed out for?

I have a nice dense piece of Turkish walnut; nice wood but nothing special. If interested, contact me at jmbn1@outlook.com.
