Well, after years of planning and product development, I've launched an E-Business selling rust blue products. Please visit and try my products. I hope you are happy with the results you get. I hand-craft every order so you get the most potent solutions possible. That means less passes to get results. For example, with the Swiss Formula, you can often get a dark black in only 2-3 passes on a Mauser barrel.

Thanks in advance,

Bob Veasey

Hello Bob,
I see you make this in differant flavors. Which would give more of an accual "blue" tint on modern steel? (4340)
and good luck on your venture

If you have something people want and communicate to them why yours is a good choice for them you should be fine.
I actually have guns I'd like to reblue myself at home but don't have a bath and oven.

Do you market or sell an immersion hot dip cleaner that will rinse off?

The German and American formulas tend to give more of blue tint. However, by polishing to around 400-600 grit you can get more blue, albeit with a few more passes.
