What can be done to a P14 / 1917 bolt release...

...to make it look closer to a Mauser. Something too remove the disk at there rear of it? Maybe allow a little of the left side to be removed so the action looks closer to classicish? I tried searching the forums but all pictures didn't come up in the old posts.

Just like this. You can either weld up the slot, leave it or file the boss to match the ejector contour and bend the spring around it to cover the slot. That is a Myers Arms 3-pos safety conversion as well.

Great! Ed sent me down a couple versions and I had considered making them but simply do not have the time at the moment.

Look forward to them, as I need at least two, probably 3 of them.

My 404? yes. The key is to make sure the ejector slot doesn't show at the rear. A piece needs to be welded on there to square off like a M98.
