I don't have access to a milling macine to make my own tools so I need to buy ready made wrenches.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I use a 20 ton hydraulic press and oak blocks for barrels, and an 18 inch Crescent for outside and an inside wrench for 700s, etc.
I own the fancy ones that Brownells sells, but my way is faster and no barrel has yet to defeat the system. And I can press bearings in my spare time.

Some of your actions will need custom wrenches. Which will have to be milled out.

The cost of buying all those action and barrel combinations would pay for the cost of a used mill drill or BP knockoff.

Most of the machining is done or can be done in a lathe, which apparently the OP has.

Seems he doesn't want to buy new, and is hoping to find used.

I read this in Brownell's "Gunsmith Kinks" several years ago + have tried it. In your bbl vise, sprinkle sugar. It will provide extra grip while the granules are crushed but will not harm the bluing.

Never mistake motion for action.

If you have a lathe here is a my design. I use resin and sheet rock paper to put between the barrel and the aluminum blocks.

The action tool is shown for the Remington action. Turn the bottom section over for a flat to fit most Mausers. Use sheet rock paper with powder resin between the metal parts. This tool will work for most actions. For a quick fix I use hard wood sometimes for the blocks. I have a large piece of pipe to fix on the action tool for a handle of about 2 ft long. I made several different size blocks for the barrel as needed.

Save money and buy more machines to make your tools.
