Can anything be done to lighten/smooth the pull of these trigers?

Stretching the trigger spring lightens it. Just don't over do it.

Have you had any luck? I have not done anything to improve mine yet. I've just sort of learned the gritty pattern. Two gritty nudges and a stop, and after that it breaks like a rubberized glass rod.

P. S. I got some possible solutions to the problem on another thread.

Hastings makes a replacement adjustable trigger group assy. I forget the price, but I believe it was pushing $200 last I saw it.

Blue tick,

Lightening the trigger pull involves changes to existing springs and can lead to a malfunction if taken too far. These triggers can be smoothed up and made to break more cleanly with a little careful stoning and polishing of the sear surfaces.

Good luck,

Malm
