On a whim I recently purchased a replacement non-setting single stage trigger for my CZ 550 medium rifle in 9.3x62 from: http://www.hunting-rifles.com/
American Hunting Rifles, Inc.
PO Box 300
Hamilton, Montana 59840

It cost $85.00 + $5.00 S&H

It looks like this:

It was easy to install. when the action is cocked things look like this:

After firing it all looks like this:

The only modification required to the rifle is to mill the slot in the bottom metal for the trigger itself further toward the back of the bow. I also widened the slot a bit on my rifle.

It breaks pretty cleanly at 3.25# now. I'm pleased.

Do you have the manual with you CZ ?
It tells you how to adjust your trigger. I would assume the instructions still apply. How does your 550 medium shoot ? is it a 7mm Mag ?
I would love to get my hands on ove of those.
Also how does your trigger feel since the replacment ...tj3006

Thomas I have a medium Lux 9.3x62 cz, and would like a 7mm but apparently there harder to find than rocking horse shit.

Mine is a 9.3x62 American.
The new trigger is much crisper than the original. The original felt mushy to me. The set trigger on my 416 rigby feels fine.

I really like the way my rifle shoots now.
Eventually I may put it in one of the new CZ 550 medium stocks from McMillan.

I may also play around and put some Recknagel (NECG) express sights on it. Why not?

If I had to do this all over I would have bought a Sako AV in 30-06 and rebarreled it to 9.3x62. It doesn't matter though. Both brands of rifles work, and work well.
