Well I've checked all my books and the closest I can get to a cartridge stop is a "cartridge carrier". Could this be what you mean? I am not familiar with this rifle. Also, if it will help I can send you an exploded view, and parts list.

Part is called Cartridge stop by Colt and some others use a different designation of

it is part # 5

this part fits under the cartridge carrier and has a provision for the slide lock parts to attach to, a projection on the front that keeps additional cartridges from feeding out of the magazine tube and a pair of arms on the back that ride on the hammer pin and actuate it like the bolt is actuated on a SAA.

Unfortunately, in addition to being hard to find, this is also the part that apparently fails the most often, the arms break off.

I called and left a message, but I've struck out so many times, I am not hopeful.

Well partner, looks like Numrichs usually carries it, but it's sold out. BTW they call it a "magazine gate". I will keep an eye out for one but it looks like they either can't keep any in stock anywhere, or they can't get them.
