I just got a rifle back from having a NECG Universal front site installed. This is a dumb question, but is it adjustable for elevation? There's an Allen head screw at the base of the site blade that looks like it might drift the blade up or down. I thought I'd ask before I started jacking with it. Use enough gun... Shoot 'till it's dead, especially if it bites.

Yes it does move it up and down but make sure the little set screw on the side is loose or you'll bung up the side of your sight insert, ask me how I know!! The head of the screw fits into a notch on the bottom of the sight blade/bead insert and the back of the insert pivots on another notch in the rear. Good Luck.

Thanks, I thought it looked like it would. I'm glad I asked because I did not plan to take off the site hood, so I would not have seen the set screw on the side. Thanks again!. Use enough gun... Shoot 'till it's dead, especially if it bites.

Be carefulgoing up with elevation as if you go too far it pops out and can be pretty hard to get it back together if your not used to tinkering with them. ! Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

While we're on the subject, and if I may ask, can someone decode the last digits of the NECG P/N? As an example, what does the 645, 650, and 655 correlate to? I'm assuming the maximun height from the top of the barrel. Fiber Optic High R-108-655 Fiber Optic Low R-108-645 Fiber Optic Medium R-108-650
