Ok now i have taken thes rifle apart many times ,but now when i put it back together the hinged floor plate wont open , unless i loosen the 2 screws that tighten town the stock and you also cant put 3 shells in the mag. or it wont funtion properly. now with the action out of the stock the mag. works fine and the floor plate drops all the time as it does when put into the stock but only when the screws are loose , like i said when i tighten down on them the floor plate wont drop , whats happening hear.

First, check that the magazine is in right side up. (no offense) Sometimes, the magazine wants to set in a little crooked and you have fiddle with it a little to get it straight. But, your problem is just a little with the alignment.

i think your right willie it was an alignment problem , on top of just having one of those days. i took it apart and put it back together and this time its fine everyting works just fine , thanks
