frank4570Detachable box mag win 70?
I was just thinking it would be pretty awesome if I could modify my .416 m70 to accept detachable box mags. I like the way it works with my AR15, though in a dangerous game caliber it should probably be a little more difficult to accidentally spit out the magazine.
Anything? Anybody ever?

PeglegI have a Model 70 in 270Win. that has a factory detachable box magazine. They make them or at one time did make them.

BNagelGo high end, whatever you pick. Feeding may be more of a problem with your "kicker" than keeping the box tight. (Bet you are talking custom there.)

Looks like they don't make mags long enough for 416 rem (3.6" rounds), just the 3.34" standard length variety. You might call and ask to be sure.
