malcolmThree position safeties
Hi guys, does anyone else manufacture 3 position safeties for 98 Mausers apart from David Gentry? Will they work with any triggers?
I will be visiting the USA during June and I hope to purchase a few "odds and sods"

Glen71Dakota and Wisner's come to mind. I'm not aware of any trigger issues, as these safeties act on the striker.

Rick 0311Ed LaPour makes a really nice unit that doesn’t require as much tinkering and fitting as the others do.

Did you check out his 03 Springfield models? With the cocking piece (which is gorgeous) it runs $300.00. One will be going on an 03 sporter I’m putting together.

tnekkccThis AR forum is THE place on the Internet to find out about 3 position safety's. At least one of the manufacturers posts here. Do a search.

Jim KobeSteer clear of the Gentry unit. Do a search here and you will see why. I understand he had shipped a bunch to Brownell's and the indexing was off 180 deg.
I just put two of Ed Lapour's on Remington 700s and they are quality stuff.
Do you want to pick up the two position while you are in town?
