I have an M96 in 6.5x55 that I just love, very accurate. However it came to me with a Ramline stock and once I bedded it I'm finding that I don't like the weight of this set up.
Who makes a nice trim and lightweight stock for a small ring mauser that would fit my rifle?

MPI Stocks

MPI offers a fiberglass stock for your rifle but they have gotten decidedly mixed reviews here--some like them many hate them. They require some work. 24 oz.

I guess I don't mind the look too much but the price was a little heavy. Maybe I was just expecting cheaper cuz it is plastic/fiberglass. Are their website prices inflated somewhat?
