My father bought this right after WWII in about 1947. It's in pristine condition and with the peeps is a real fine shooter.....

That said it has screw holes in the receiver (factory original) for a scope mount.

Anyone know where I can find a scope mount for this gun that will hold a full 1" tube?

If it wasn't for the scope mount holes being factory installed, I'd never do it as my father asked the guns be kept original.

A bit late getting back but I bought the mount from Brownells and it wasn't a slam bang.

I had to remove the port shield from the bolt and shim the mount to get it to work properly but I did finally get it installed and a scope mounted and this gun will now shoot the 10 ring every time at 25 yards....It prefers standard velocity CCI shells as well....Dad said they was what worked and he sure was right on that.

If you want the scope base be ready for s bit of frustration!....but it might be worth it!

I bought one from Brownells also, just got to it this weekend. Other than removing the port shield it was a "drop in". The mounting screws were a bit long and the grinder took care of that. I used Weaver rings and an older Redfield 4x. Like yours, this one shoots very well.

Not that I can help you on where to get one. But I believe this is an original one.
