<Jordan>Call Greg Tannel (
www.gtrtooling.com) at (970) 353-6176 (Colorado). He has a .270 Improved reamer. BTW: I don't think there was ever a .270 Ackley per se (I might be wrong) so any .270 "Ackley" will necessarily be giving the Ackley name to the cartridge, even though P.O. himself did not actually wildcat that cartridge. (Again, I may be wrong, but don't think so.)
Call Greg and ask him about his reamer specs. I liked my .270 Ackley while I had it. It was built on a HVA small ring mauser and was very accurate.

Jordan

<Bill>Bill,
The gun is my least impressive rifle, an old Browning Abolt Stalker, plastic stock and all right from the factory.
It was my first hunting type rifle. Killed my first deer and boar with it.
I have it in 270 winchester right now, I wnated to be a little creative with it. If the rechambering worls out, I will have some of my other rifles done.
