Does anyone know how the barrels are fitted to the Baikal single shot break action rifles ? Are they threaded, pressed, soldered ??? I have one in 7.62x39 that I would like to rebarrel in 6.5x39 and restock as a nice stalking rifle. Roger

Hummm. 6.5x39,that would be a 6.5 Grendal. Right? Shoot Safe, Mike NRA Endowment Member

Not really, the Grendell is actually a shortened, blown out case made to better fit the AR platform....the 6.5x39 is merely a necked down, sometimes blown out, 7.62x39 case......not much in it, but different. Roger
