Can anybody help me? The stock on my CZ 550 in 375 H&H is broken, because the thin wood could not stand the recoil. So I am looking for a synthetic stock for the rifle, but I have not been able to find any for the CZ. At Midway they have a lot, but only for american made rifles. Does anybody know where to buy it? If so, please post the homepage where I can order it.

Just curious - Did you contact CZ USA customer service to see if they will do anything for you? You're not the first person to experience this problem.

Thanks for your reply. I contacted the shop in which I bought the gun. The owner contacted the firm that import the gun to Denmark, and the would not accept that it was their problem, because - as the say - I did not check that the screw was tighten before shoting(who will do so while hunting Kudu??).

Does anybody know a webpage where I can order a new stock? At CZ official page it is not possible to order anything.....

The current McMillan Fiberglass Stocks catalog list the AHR stock on page 27 as designed to fit the CZ 550 action.
It has a staight comb and cheek pc. Right hand only. Has checkering. For Magnum 550 actions with dropbelly floorplates, see Express Rifel Stock.
web site is

Recently I contacted 2 master gunsmiths here on the stock splitting. This seems to be a trade mark of CZ, due to improper screw tension. The old BRNO guns never had this problem, as I can testify. I own a 375 which has in its credit more than 500 shots, no steel bedding, no reinforcers, no nothing and still going strong. In other thread another member asked about expected accuracy in 375 caliber. My gun shots in 1" or less at 150 meters all day long if I do my part.
Regards

Erik,
The Classic Express stock by McMillan is the best option, IMHO. The one in the picture that Jeffe linked is my BRNO ZKK 602. Thanks Jeffe. It is the same one that Harry refers to. Mine is a simple solid walnut brown molded in color, but you can get camo patterns, other colors, etc., at your choice. The checkering is molded in and is functional.

The CZ 550 Magnum and BRNO ZKK 602 use the same dropbelly stock.

For the CZ 550 Magnum, you have to open up the trigger well a bit internally, and you have to hand fit the F-Block and forearm escutcheon if you retain the CZ barrel recoil lug. It would be better if going to the McMillan, to simply replace the barrel lug with a standard lug and do away with the escutcheon and F-block in the forearm. I will post the picture here, again: -
Cheers
