6.5-284 Question

Anyone here build a 6.5-284?

There seems to be some confusion about reamer specs. It appears that depending on which brass you want to use (Norma, Winchester, Hornady?) you should pick a different reamer? From what I've been able to find out, it has to do with the base diameter.

For instance, PPG lists two 6.5-284 reamers (6.5-284 and 6.5-284 Norma). BUT Dave Manson says there is only one.

Anyone have any insight? I just want to finish the rifle!

SamB,
Yes, these 2 that you listed are both variations based on brass size. There are also about 7 others that have variations based on throat lengths set for specific bullets. Just decide on the brass that you want to use and finish your project. No matter what, it is a terrific cartridge.
Hope this helps. If not, let me know and I'll dig deeper.
Bill
