I have left my reamers to co-mingle with his at Hilltop Gunshop. I have asked him to keep my reamers in his shop for use there, not to be loaned or rented. He and I have both had reamers disappear on loan: We are not in the reamer rental business. Rusty posts here as member "roughone" and he is "Gunsmith."

A file of reamer drawings for reference to detail is being compiled.

Unless he is renting these reamers, which I understand from your post he isn't, the drawings don't mean anything. What would mean something would be how close the dimensions of his finished chambers were to the actual dimensions of the reamers. That's something that could be important to someone. Particularly since you are advertising for his "services" and not as a reamer rental outfit. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. Another "whiner" of a different sort, eh? How silly. Of course the reamer specs mean something, as does the best of human abilities in chambering a rifle using those reamers. Grow up Westpac, stop being such a tiny little man.

The fact that you think I'm whining IS silly now bite me. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend, it is my life.

No, I will not, but you may bite me, or just give me a kiss.

A 400 Whelen reamer is the object of lust at the moment at Hilltop Gun Shop. That might be added to the list soon. Of course any specific reamer could be rented or purchased for purpose: From the maker or the renting service. Hilltop Gun Shop is not a reamer rental service.

400 Whelen Reamer: Rusty is ordering one of these. Note: Krieger, Shilen, and maybe Douglas seem to be offering the proper .411"-grooved barrels. Need to make sure the barrel is proper for the bullet. I'll update the list above to include 400 Whelen ... as soon as Rusty has the reamer on hand.

Rusty is well aware of need for chamber with .458" minimum shoulder diameter: Thanks, Michael Petrov. http://www.z-hat.com/smashing_the_headspace_myth.htm BTW, We have also found a parallel-sided freebore of about 1/2-caliber length and .002" greater diameter than bullet works very well.

Well Malm, Maybe we should advertise our business here and show photos of our shop and tools, maybe a few of finished products. RIP, I really don't understand your post.

Butch, maybe we should start by listing our tools and equipment. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend, it is my life.

I got no pooch in this not-yet-a-fracas, but I've been online since 1996- you can live by the internet and get bit by it just the same if you do. We have several examples throughout the history of these forums.

Westpac sent me a "private message" that said only "Fuc# you." I deleted it. He is now on ignore. Third member to make that list. Woo hoo. What a strange little man. This thread is my idea. Not Rusty's. Anyone who does not understand may "ignore" also.

RIP, Maybe you may want to ignore me also. I can list more reamers than you did, does that make me the best? Your bud my be great, but I would ignore him because of your thread. Maybe one of these days you can carry Westpac's drawers.
