Will a Leupold/Burris type one piece scope mount for an FN commercial fit a military 98 action with the charger hump removed?

Thanks for the reply. I was basically wondering if there were height differences. D/T is a given, of course.

The hole spacing on a commercial FN base is different than a military mauser base.

If you try to use a commercial FN base on a military 98 I think the rear hole will be in the clip slot.

Leupold makes a one piece base just for a military 98.

Thanks for your reply. No, the rear hole is approx. 3/8" from the clip slot. I know they make one for the 98, I just don't like the "slot" for the charger hump if it's not necessary...

Pedestal, I shaped my 09 Argentine rear bridge like the FN commercial and fit over-the-counter Warne bases. They lined right up....

I used this one

The hole spacing was right for the Wheeler drill and tap fixture. This was for a turk K. Kale. I did not remove the hump, so I guess thats not much help.
