I like the look of the flush mounted sling swivels I've seen a couple times in the past.

What is your opinion of them, and who's would you install?

I thought the ones I'd seen were Uncle Mikes but they don't seem to show them on their products page.

Pachmayr has them. I have a set on a custom rifle and really like them.

Have you had any issues? They look like they'd be easy to bend? How far out do the base or socket piece protrude?

I have a set of Pachmeyr on a rifle that I built.

I like to clean look of them. They are flush with the exception of the radius of the mount. They have a domed shape. With the sling and inserts they feel sound and I trust them, no bending so far.

The downsides are the fact that you can not use a bipod and they are tricky to install. You definitely need to take your time installing them to get them right.

Just my 2 cents....
