Are 1935 Chilean Mausers large or small ring? I just bought a barreled action. I believe it is from an army carbine. It has a bent bolt handle. The front ring is not flush with the receiver. The top of the front ring says "Chile", "Orden Y Patria", and "Modelo 1935". There are two rifles crossing in an X pattern on the front ring as well. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

FISH!!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

I don't know about the Chilean but imagine if it measure 1.31 it's a small ring and if it goes 1.4 its a large ring.
