ok, i know i can go to shilen for these but a friend i don't talk to often told me there is a place that specializes in saage barrels in a wide assortment of calibers. much like fox ridge does with contender and encore. can anyone tell me who these people are and what their website is if they have one?

The above company is the only one that specializes in Savage barrels/components.
All other barrel makers offer barrels threaded for the Savage. The variety of chamberings is limited only by the reamers they have access to.
