Hi, I need to find a gunsmith to replace the bolt handle on my 700BDM. After contacting remington, I do not have any confidence in their Ability to fix this problem...Thanks

I second Dan. He is very quick, too cheap, and understands bolt timing. www.accu-tig.com Butch

While I don't know what Remington told you that caused the apprehension... I can tell you that I sent a customer's bolt into Remington last year after he broke the handle off (whacked it into a tree while climbing into a tree stand IIRC). Remington repaired and refinished the bolt for under $100 and only took a few weeks.

remington is telling me that to resoder a new bolt handle onto my bolt will cost 189.00. I have contacted a gunsmith on this site, im going to have the rifle returned with no repairs and have it turned into a custom rifle...It may be my last remington. i currently have 14 model 700's
