model 70 featherweight floorplate question

bought a pre-64 featherweight yesterday (243) floorplate doesn't have a scratch on it OR any finish who or how can it be re-blacked.

They were anodized and there are plating firms who do that sort of thing. Or you can coat it with one of the gun coat products. (like gun coat, dura coat, etc)

thanks! i was looking for someone to anodize it but I know a guy that does powder coating think i'll try that.

Ended up with a better power source. Funny people wanted their rifle blued and wanted the aluminum to look better as well. Go figure. Wink
