The safety on this gun could be called backwards, OFF is aft and ON is forward.
Is there away to reverse this??

If one has ever been made, I've never seen it. But I've never seen the Eiffel Tower other than in pictures. Which of course can be faked.

Just looking at one in the shop I can see why they did it that way. If it went the other way with the movement, it would be difficult, if not impossible to create a reliable bolt lift lock while on safe with the same part. I don't think making the safety itself would be such a big chore, if one was to loose the bolt lock feature. Move the safety bar forward about .450 inch. Remove some material on the left side so that it can clear the bolt sleeve when turning and make a new detente for the cocking piece to fall into on the cam that moves the cocking piece back when on safe. All of the internal dimensions can remain the same. Probably $500 to $600 to make the first one and after that, run out some thumb tack shaped blanks on a CNC lathe with a bar feeder and piss out the remainder of the work on a CNC mill. Run time would probably be 15 to 20 minutes each so net cost would be $60 to $70 per pop after heat treat, cleanup and bluing. $160 retail. Casting them would be cheaper.

The big problem would be convincing enough people that they need one. I only hear one guy complain about them every 5 years or so. It's not like you're making drugs or coffee and donuts here.
