Bisley grip modification strength question

Hi everybody.
Would there be any strength problems come from cutting the 2 alignment nubs off of a Ruger grip frame?

I was thinking of putting a bisley grip on a BFR to see the difference in recoil with different grips. I'd also like to put it back on the Ruger afterwards.
TIA

If you remove those, the grip frame is subjet to shifting and possibly shearing the mounting screws. Most without the nubs have closely fit screw heads to avoid some of this.

Instead of removeing the nubs, you might think about making recesses for the nubs on the BFR.

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
