260 Rem Reamer

I have a short chambered 260 Rem barrel and I have a action for it. A friend of mine has a 6.5 x 08 reamer that he will loan me to clean up the short chambered 260 Rem barrel. My question is: Are the 6.5x08 and the 260 Rem the same? Or, has Rem made some change for standardization?

Looking at my book of prints from PT&G they look identical except the 260 has a .010 difference in total length and that is in the neck. I would say they are the same.
