When I acquired my BRNO 22F a while back, if arrived minus the Mannlicher style sling loop on the foreend. I have replaced it with a flat metal version, but it doesn't work as well as the original, and I wonder if anyone has a suggestion as to where a suitable replacement can be found? New England Custom Guns sells one, but it is of the flat metal variety, too.

There is an outfit in Austria called Schoder, which sells parts for original Mannlicher-Schoenauers, and they sell what I want, but the purchase price for the loop and screw is over 50 Euros (plus postage), which would amount to about $90.00 in real money. Not a good option.

Ruger has one on there full stock models, not sure if its the flat type or not. Try Brownells for parts or Ruger direct.

The illustration doesn't show the loop with a screw to attach it with. I hope one is included.
