Howa two stage trigger

I have a Howa with the two stage trigger I would like to get to between one and two pounds.Best I have been able to do is just over three. Anybody had one of these apart to work on?

I like the howa triggers. In my experience that screw with the blob of RTV on it doesn't do much. I replaced the springs in mine and they're much lighter and the 2-stage function is still nice. I've read where people cut one turn off of the stock spring, but I haven't tried that.

Thanks for the info, took mine apart and replaced the spring behind the adjuster with a lighter one from the junk drawer. Got me down to two and a quarter lb pull which is a good match for my smallbore silhouette rifle, so I guess I can live with it for a while.
