Where might I buy Walther barrels? I understand they are selling an octagon to round barrel with integral quarter rib for about $1500. Can anyone give me the details about obtaining one?

If you were serious about your offer of getting together for a hunt with our daughters, it sounds like it would be fun.

I guess they sell directly so I've sent them an email. Thanks.

Likewise it was nice meeting you and Rebekah. I'm always serious about hunting. February is the best hog hunting time down here or we could do an antelope hunt somewhere.

I ended up buying that single squarebridge obendorf action. I'm going to turn Joe Smithson loose to build a DGR with it. I have been really impressed by his work as well as Joe Pietz and James Tucker. All three of these guys are younger but have great talents and reputations. I want to have some of their work.

You can get the same barrel from Badger barrels for $465. $1500 is a waist of money.

No, I have to disagree, the Badger barrel is not the same barrel, it doesn't even come close to a Lothar-Walther..

Not many are even close to a Walther LW-50 barrel.
