I have an old husky M98 in 9.3x62 with a beat up receiver. I also have a good M98 receiver that I would like to use as a replacement for the husky.

Would it be difficult to make the sights on the barrel align with the replacement receiver? The rear sight is milled into the barrell...

Thanks Doug, I guess I need to call my smith and see if he would be willing to take it on.

How beatup is it to warrant replacement? Couldn't it be cleaned up or does it have heavy rust pitting?
