I would like to fit a pair of classic hanging English mounts as pictures below on a 375 H&H magnum built on 1909 Argentine Mauser Action which has very good open sights. The mounts give a classic feel which is what I am looking for.



Any help with how to install them will be most appreciated.

Please do start at the very beginning from milling the mounts to the Mauser receiver contour, to setting them up for mounting the scope and correct alignment of the mounts with the bore.

How would you do this starting with a pair of brand new unfitted mounts? please help out here
