Had a good client drop off one of these the other day and wanted it reblued. It is the later one with the funny receiver that requires a special blueing solution/process.

I have used brownells Satinsteel salts and did an acceptable job, the other method is to have the action satin chromed then you never have a problem. If you satin chrome it you will have to take a few thousands off the barrel shank so that it will align correctly. There is a outfit in Iowa that will replate the action for you.
