Thanks for the replies guys. I haven't had time to do the scope turn yet. I think that might do the trick as the empty cases do just barely hit the turret. But a trip to the 'smith's shop is probably in order to get it fixed right.

I had a Sako TRGS in 375 that would do what your describing. I had the ejection port lowered and the problem was solved.

The problem is with the guns extractor/ejector..by modifying the angle of the lip, a gunsmith can change the direction of the ejected cases flight...It is a simple procedure.
