Is this better than the original Winchester design? I am looking at the Willams replacement and wondering if it is any better than their Winchester one piece design.

Getting away from the two piece design is better IMO.

The traditional Winchester design can be accidently tripped by brush while hunting....the design hiding the tripping lever inside the bow is much less likely to be tripped accidently.
