Who makes the best in terms of function and aestitics?

I am thinking of using one for a project I've had planned for a while and am figuring on a little over $200 for parts and installation.

Thanks,

Jason

I just installed a Dakota on my Mauser project. Did it all myself with just a bit of trouble at first in getting it to go on all the way. Jeffe suggested lapping it on and that worked. All that was left was to grind a couple of angles in the metal, for which you need a grinder and something to figure out the correct angles, and then I used a bit of wet paint to mark for the spot that needed a half hole ground into the back of the bolt. For that I used a dremel.

Here's a Dakota three position safety I installed to my VZ-24. It's a good looking piece and works beautifully. I've had trouble however getting some of them to install at all.

Vapodog,

Is lever held in place with a a set screw or a tappered pin. The Gentry I have is a set, but I have a 3 Pos CZ trigger that I can't remember who made that has a small tapered pin.

I've got two mauser's with 3 position safeties. One Gentry and one Dakota. Out of the two the Dakota feels like a nicer safety, it's smoother and and easier to operate, but the Gentry works and I have no complaints.
