I think Gun-Kote makes a silver finish. Would that work?

I would consider using a brushed nickel finish. The french gray finish is not as durable as the nickel.

On a project that I am working on, the only scope bases that will be suitable come blued. The barreled action, scope rings and scope are all stainless/silver in color.

I suppose that one option is to have the bases nickle/chrome plated and if so; who would my learned colleagues recommend?

What other options exist for a silver/grey finish for scope bases; is french greying an option and if so who would you recommend?

Thank you in advance.
