How many pounds of torque do you use to hold the action to the stock?

With rifles, I have shot .2 moa with 15 foot pounds of torque, and I have no trouble getting them apart when assembled with 1000 foot pounds of torque.

You should be dealing in inch/pounds not foot pounds. Amount varies, determining factors are bedding system, action type, etc.
