I have owned my 378 for nearly 20 yrs and love the rifle-but despite having spent money++ it still has a dog of a trigger.Does anyone on the forum know of a good aftermarket trigger or some other good fix? Find a local gunsmith who is competent with reworking triggers and have him stone it. These triggers are fairly respectible when the sear angles are adjusted. You can adjust spring tension and sear engagement by turning screws, but unless the sear angles are slightly altered, you won't gain much. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. Your best bet is replace this with a newer Weatherby trigger- Japanese production and later style. If you have this one now it can be tuned to an excellent pullby an expert. The Canjar is expensive and needs to be much harder -I have two on Weatherby MkV actions. I have installed probably close to 100 of Canjars many years ago. Glenn

Timney makes a very good trigger for the Mk V. They run about $130.00.... Ken.... "The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so. " - Ronald Reagan
