Just got it off fleabay, military Mauser with an in the bow release like an Argy, but it has the extra locking screw holes. Not as nice as an Argy, will need some filing and stoning to get it cleaned up, but the door is tight and it's better than the cast units I've seen.

What other military Mausers had a hinged floor plate?

1904 Portuguese. Very nice units.
Using one on a build atm, just weld up and the lock screw holes, a bit of contouring and you’re done.
If building an ‘06 they need opening out slightly.

It is likely a 1904 Portuguese as metal stated.

Fantastic units, and just as good as the Argentine. I find the 6.5x58 taper to be better than the Argentine 7.65x53.

I buy Mauser actions, parts, micrometers, tools, calipers, etc. Specifically looking for pre-WWII Mauser tools.
